Val is the pillar of Monkey Tree since 2011, long before Monkey Tree came to be. So if you need any info on the gym , Val is the girl to see. Always greeting our members with a smiling face and helpful to all. Val is a valued member of the team and will be on duty Monday and Tuesday evenings and the odd Sunday.

Jo Stone   Jo is the life of the party on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoon and evening, and the odd Sunday.  Always ready with a warm smile and infectious laugh, Jo brightens the afternoons at Monkey Tree. Don’t be surprised if you get a call from her about an upcoming event, workshop or to find out where you are if your attendance is low.  She’s even available to give style tips. Armed with a warm smile and kind demeanour, Julie is always happy and ready to help out with member inquiries and processes. If you have a question about memberships or need to schedule a PT session, Julie is the one to ask.

When she’s not at the desk, you may find her in our Group Fitness Studio teaching one of her many awesome yoga classes or workshops.  With a background in dance and yoga, she’s a force to be reckoned with.  Have a question about your yoga pose, she’s happy to assist.

Peter S. - Cert. Trainer   As the inhouse personal trainer, Peter can often be found on the gym floor helping our members reach their fitness goals. He’s a wealth of knowledge and very highly regarded as a personal trainer by our members. His knowledge and skills make him an excellent trainer for any skill level.

Typically offered on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, Gad’s Total Body and TABATA classes are popular and fill up fast. It’s a great way to get into shape and make friends.
