Monkey Tree Fitness & Wellness Late Cancellation/No-show Policy for Classes and Appointments

We understand there are times when you must miss or cancel a class or appointment due to emergencies or obligations.  However, when you don’t call to cancel your appointment or spot in class, you prevent another member who is on a waiting list from participating in a class, or from taking the appointment time.  As well, the practitioner, instructor or trainer is also still required to be paid for their time.

Therefore, out of fairness and courtesy to instructors, service providers, trainers, and other members Monkey Tree Fitness & Wellness is imposing a Late Cancellation or No-Show Policy to take effect October 1, 2019.

This policy will apply to all paid Live Group Fitness classes (free classes do not apply), Personal Training sessions and Holistic Wellness Services.

The policy is as follows:

  • Late cancellation: if you cancel a reservation within 12 hours of the start time, your pass will be deducted for the class or appointment.  If you have reserved unpaid, you will be charged a $50 Late Cancellation Fee.  If you are taking a class and reserved unpaid, your new pass will be deducted for the missed class or you will be charged for a Single-Use-Pass at $20 (+HST) should you choose not to purchase a class pass option.

  • No-Show: if you fail to show up for a class or appointment your pass (class or Personal Training) will be deducted for the missed appointment.    If you have reserved unpaid, you will be charged for the full cost of the service you have booked, and for classes you will be charged a Single-use-Pass at $20 (+HST), should you choose not to purchase a class pass option.

  • Family & Medical Emergencies: we ask for 3 hours notice to cancel without penalty.

 

Exceptions for class cancellation:  Members who are Unlimited Month Class Pass holders will not be charged for late cancelled or no-show classes.  However, we ask that you make every effort to notify us if you are unable to attend a class to enable another participant to enjoy the class.

 

If a class or appointment is cancelled within the appropriate time, you will not be charged.

 

There are a variety of ways you can cancel your class or appointment.

Options to cancel a class or appointment:

1) Call: 416.233.3400 (calls are time stamped in case a voicemail is left)

2) Through your confirmation email

3) Log into your Wellness Living app or online profile, if you have set it up.
