Yoga Workshop by Illuminate Yoga for tight shoulders, stiff neck and upper back.
Ok, so our studio isn’t near the beach, but you will still come away from this workshop feeling renewed and rejuvenated.
During this 90 minute workshop you will learn how to use therapy balls, foam rollers, bands, yoga stretches and mobility exercises to help you regain motion and flexibility while improving your overall range of motion in the shoulders & spine.
We will review the anatomy basics to help identify the areas you need to work on most for your body. We will explore poses to release tight chest muscles and open the shoulders, along with both strengthening and stretching exercises for the upper back, neck and shoulders.
The workshop will be an open forum, welcoming discussion and questions, with a focus on proper alignment and execution of the methods learned.
All participants will be e-mailed a PDF copy of some of the exercised and poses learned to bring what they've learned home with them, into a 5-10 minute daily routine for lifetime happy, mobile shoulders.
